Euthanism...good or BAD?!
WHEN I READ THE ARTICLE ABOUT EUTHANISM, AND THE COMPANY OF PEOPLE WHO ASSISTS IN SUICIDES I WAS ASTONISHED! iT REALLY CAUGHT ME OFF GUARD THAT THERE IS A GROUP OF PEOPLE THAT HELP PEOPLE KILL THEMSELVES. IT SEEMS TO ME THAT THEY ARE ACTUALLY COMMITTING MURDER AND SHOULD BE PUNISHED FOR. tHAT SHOULD NOT BE LEGAL IN ANY STATE FOR ANY REASON. ITS ONE THING TO HAVE SOMEONE KILL THEMSELF FOR NO REAL REASON, BUT TO HAVE SOMEONE ASSIST IN IT IS JUST PLAIN DISGUSTING. wE SHOULD BE TRYING TO HELP AND STOP PEOPLE FROM MAKING THESE DECISIONS YET THERE ARE PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT ARE CONDONING IT! PERSONALLY IF I WAS CONSIDERING SUICIDE AND THERE WAS NO ONE THERE TO STOP ME, BUT THERE TO HELP ME I WOULDN'T FEEL A NEED TO DO IT ANYMORE I MIGHT AS WELL BE MURDERED...

euthanasia is not the same as suicide when one is depressed and feeling hopeless; rather this is a process whereby doctor and psychologists evaluate the situation of a terminally ill person, whose quality of life no longer exists. They are in excrusiating pain. Their lives lack any control and dignity. Choosing to die is their final assertion that they are in fact human beings who deserve respect, even in the process of dying.
